session 1. Criticism, media and transatlantic dialogues

The proposal of this session is to make a reflection on architectural criticism as a transnational practice. Drawing on different mediation mechanisms – such as journals and published translated texts, but also UNESCO’s global meetings – we are interested in further understanding the role of these media not only as diffusion vehicles of information, ideas and models, but especially as places of encounter, exchange, interaction and shared knowledge.
